Le Pink Lingerie Campaign Update

•February 2, 2010 • Leave a Comment

Just an update on the Le Pink Lingerie Campaign.  I see it is up on Le Pink’s website.  Here are 3 screen shots.  There are a few more up in a Autumn/Winter 2010 Preview section.  I just got the catalog in the mail, so I might try my hand at photographing the catalog itself this week for posting.

Here is my initial post with the first shot from the campaign:

2010 Black and White Awards, London

•January 29, 2010 • Leave a Comment

Once again 2 of my photos were listed as official Nominees in the Black and White Spider Awards from London.  Last year I received the same honor for my Bubbles jumping shot.  Noise also just placed an Honorable Mention in IPA (International Photography Awards) this last August.

You can see the entire series for Noise Magazine here.

Originally photographed for the Susana Monaco Campaign, you can see the entire set here in a story on my work from the Bulgarian Magazine, Intro and the behind the scenes photos here.  Both stories, Noise and Bicycle were photographed with Hassleblad H3D 39 Megapixel with Profoto lighting.  Noise was shot in Brooklyn and Bicycle was shot at Milk Studios.

Yummie Tummie Behind the Scenes Sneak Peak!

•January 22, 2010 • Leave a Comment

I should have posted this back in November when Yummie Tummie posted it on their blog, but I was so busy shooting that I missed it.  Their post is a little different with some more info on the amazing designer, Heather and the inspirations to the line.  Here is the link to Yummie Tummie’s post.  I will try to post some final shots this week.

Audrey Chihocky by Michael Creagh

•January 21, 2010 • Leave a Comment

I am back in New York and working on projects galore.  I should post lots of photos in the next couple weeks.  Here is a truly hot model, Audrey Chihocky.  You have seen her as a Guess girl (SS09) and on Project Runway (Season 1).  You have also seen her in numerous runway shows (Fendi, Ed Hardy, Zac Posen, Escada).  She is with Elite Models.

Here is Audrey in Brooklyn.

Updating My Blog at 30,000 feet

•January 14, 2010 • Leave a Comment

With such a special post, one would think I would have some new extra special photos to post. ..not really.  I am just so amazed that you can check the internet while on a plane at 30,000 feet that I wanted to post something (Thank you Virgin America for the WI FI and the free plane ticket!  But no thanks to the turbulence that just hit.  Very cool Airline though.  The safety demonstration is the best I’ve seen).

I am off to LA to meet some industry contacts.  It is all part of my award from Blurb’s Photography.Book.Now competition that I got 1st Runner-up in last fall.

Here is a photo with an LA connection.  Though shot in Brooklyn, it is the cover of DigitalPhotoPro Magazine some months back.  They are Los Angeles based.  See the entire post here.

My First Production – Chicago

•January 11, 2010 • Leave a Comment

The week before last I was in Chicago:  the city where I put together my first complete photo production as an amateur.  It was about a decade ago I guess.  And the shoot wasn’t really for anything, but it sure was a lot of work.  I had to secure this old historical society home.  A friend of my aunt let me use completely vintage outfits.  I found a model, makeup and hair.  It was a busy day and a tight schedule.

I shot these with a Hasselbad 500c with slide film (maybe Fuji Astia).  The first shot is natural light coming through a tree with a medium size reflector.   The second shot I believe is an white umbrella on  a Calumet Travelite to appear like window light.

More Judith Bedard

•December 29, 2009 • Leave a Comment

I thought I would post some more Judith Bedard shots from before she was famous.  This was our fist shoot together for a catalog.  Very commercial and on location, but I think it shows just what a beautiful woman Judith is…without all the crazy editorial looks in much of her career.

Here is also a link to my last post which has my second shot with her for Susana Monaco.

Judith Bedard just reminds me of Christmas

•December 29, 2009 • 1 Comment

Looking through photos series for something that says Christmas is harder than you think.  But seeing that red hair of the gorgeous Judith Bedard, just reminds me of Christmas.

Originally shot a couple years ago for the Fall 2007 Susana Monaco catalog, the graphic illustrations were created by the illustrious Vault49.  Many of you are already familiar with Judith Bedard as she has been in campaigns for Guess, Loius Vuitton, H&M, Old Navy, Italian Vogue, as well as a humanitarian.

Merry Christmas
