Balloons and Shadows by Michael Creagh

Here are some more shots from the Susana Monaco Catalog for Spring 2010.  The theme was shadows and we utilized an old friend; balloons.  The entire collection should be on Susana Monaco’s website in the next few days (http://susanamonaco.com).

The model is Martha Hunt from Next New York.  Makeup was Martha Friedlander (http://marthafriedlander.com) and hair Wesley from the Wall Group.  The photo was taken in my studio in Manhattan with my Hasselblad H3D 39 Megapixel camera with an 80mm lens.  The settings were ISO 50 at F9 1/250sec.  Lighting was Profoto.

Thanks!

  2. Hi Rich

Yes, it is a simple un-diffused Profoto light: no beauty dish, no softbox, no fill light. One light and a wall….. and a beautiful model.

    Thanks
